Iowa gambling dens

There are numerous other popular Iowa gambling dens, including Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 square feet, 1,212 one armed bandits, and 39 table games.

A tinier Iowa gambling den is the Diamond Jo, a water based gambling den in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 one armed bandits, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend river based, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 sq.ft., 535 slot machines, and 14 table games. An additional Iowa river based gambling hall, The Isle of Capri, is open never closes, with 24,939 square feet, 1,100 one armed bandits, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot water based gambling den in Clinton, has 506 one armed bandits, 14 table games, live shows, and Thursday chemin de fer tournaments.

Iowa casinos provide a great amount of tax income to the state government of Iowa, which has allowed the funding of many state wide projects. Tourism has increased at a rapid rate along with the demand for processors and a growth in employment. Iowa casinos have been instrumental to the growth of the economy, and the enthusiasm for gaming in Iowa is widespread.
